Announced that American Pride has purchased Homestyle Dining LLC, which owns and operates over 200 Ponderosa and Bonanza restaurants and franchisees in the USA and the world.
This is an all cash transaction, and will close on July 31st, 2014. As of 8/1/14, all restaurants that previously operated under the Bonanza name will reopen under the Ponderosa name. American Pride will be working with all 21 of the Bonanza restaurants and paying for signage and other changes in full. AP will keep the Bonanza name trademarked and registered, and may use it in the near future, especially in conjunction with our other properties.
The sale price is $135M, and includes $15M to transition all existing Bonanzas to Ponderosas by 7/31 close of business.

$100M ad buy for Red Lobster, beginning 7/1. 75% on local cable within 20 miles of an existing RL location, 25% national, on summer event programs, such as Under The Dome, World Cup, Extant, Girl Meets World; along with fresh shows like The Chew, ET, TMZ, and late night talkers.
Will be promoting $7.99 pasta; soup/salad/biscuits all you can eat, $9.99 specials (July), 2 for $25 appetizer/2 dinners, $6 lunch specials, and Happy Hour specials (4-7pm weekends, 11-7 weekdays; drinks and apps), as well as general ads with the new tagline "Back to the Best."
