Building a AAA baseball stadium near Lake Mills, WI and I94. Cost estimated at $50M, expected to last 30-40 years. Estimated capacity 9-10K. Expected to open April, 2013. Team will be known as Madison Mosquitoes.

American Pride will build, expected to be AAA affiliate, most likely of Brewers.

Self-funded, funds expected to come from:

$475K naming rights per year, first 10 years; $575K, years 11-20; $700K years 21-30 equals $17.5M.

$2 user fee per event ticket sold, first five years: $2 x 5000 x 75 x 5, equals $3.75M.

$2.25 user fee per event ticket sold, years 6-10: $2.25 x 5000 x 75 x 5, equals $4.21875M.

$3 user fee per event ticket sold, years 11-18: $3 x 5000 x 75 x 8, equals $9M.

$3.50 user fee per event ticket sold, years 19-30: $3 x 5000 x 75 x 12, equals $15.75M.

$50.21875M total

Playing field will be a "twin" of Miller Park, same dimensions, or as close as possible.

Wide, padded seats between 1B/3B, upper deck between 1B/3B. Grassy seating areas down RF line, bleachers in LF/RF, party areas down LF line. Will have party suites available for rental on per game/season basis, between two decks. Each will be named after a variety of Leinies. Will have 10-20 behind home plate, press box will be on 3B side at that level, after the suites end.

$10 top ticket price, $3-5 seats every game. 4K lower level seats between 1B/3B. 3K upper level seats between 1B/3B. 12 suites between 1B/3B, 24 tickets each. 1000 seats down each baseline. 500 bleacher seats. Up to 1K grass/SRO seats sold each game (300 considered full) . Party area by each foul pole, 125 each. Capacity of 10388.

American Pride announced plans to purchase Tucson Padres, AAA team owned by San Diego Padres' baseball club, on May 18th, 2012. Will be official after approval, estimated date of final sale, 9/15/12.

Will be named Leinenkugel Park. Naming rights go through 2020, $475K per year, beginning '13. No charge for 2012 announcement.:)

Entertainment complex will include 4K parking spaces, Hooters Live, APC Freedom 20 plex, White Castle, TCBY, and Krispy Kreme food court.

Will be in PCL division with Iowa (Des Moines), Memphis, and Nashville.

All seats will be padded, minimum 22 inches wide, padded backs.

All home games will be telecast tape delayed and edited to include each pitch by FSW.

40 games will be telecast live by FSW, mostly Sunday night and off-nights for Brewers.

November 2012 update

Full season tickets going slowly, however, partial season ticket packages, especially the weekend plan, and 3-2 plan (32 contests that do not interfere with Brewers' home games) selling briskly, especially to businesses in both Madison and especially eastern suburbs. About 100K tickets sold thus far, single game tickets will go on sale the final Saturday of February.
