SaL1 and SaL2 will mostly be live sports programming. SaL3 will be mostly live tennis, along with tennis previews and recaps. SaL4 will mostly be business news on weekdays, fictional entertainment programs in prime time and fitness/health/cooking/leisure programming on weekends.

Signed Paula Deen, Wolfgang Puck, and Stacy Poon-Kinney to host cooking/food related shows.

Signed Sarah Palin to host a pair of shows, one about hunting and the outdoors, the other about the US military and its traditions and heroes.

WGN currently charges 20 cents a month, the Tennis Channel about 40 cents, and G4 2 cents, for a total of 62 cents a subscriber per month, while CBS Sports charges 19 cents per month.  Looking to request 79 cents per month for all four when the new channels debut, and then go up when various packages kick in.

Bidding $1.4B for 16 game NFL package in 2014, or $87.5M per game if they are willing to add more to package. Awarded contract on 2/5/14.

NFL gave SaL the rights to broadcast two exhibition games each week, or eight total, in addition to the Thursday package.

Since winning the NFL package, we will charge 99 cents per household for all four channels...there is no option for 1, 2, or 3. We expect to be in 100% of all cable/satellite homes by 8/1/14. Our Roku channel will debut 8/1/14 also, and will cost $3.95 a month.

Maria Bartiromo--60 minute show, M-Th, SaL4
Lauren Magiera--sideline, gymnastics
Shannon Shephard--sideline
Lindsey Guentzel--sideline
Shawn Johnson--sideline, gymnastics
Michelle Caruso-Cabrera--60 minute show, M-Th, SaL4
Sophia Minnaert--sideline, Spanish
Juliet Huddy--60 minute daytime show, SaL4

Deals reached for carriage for all four channels, on basic tier, from debut on Charter, Time Warner, Comcast, Dish, Direct. That means about 73M households, or about 75% of the cable/satellite homes have been filled, six months before launch. Receiving 94 cents a household from all five carriers through 11/16.

As of 5/1/14, we have reached agreements with 93% of all cable/satellite homes. We expect to be in every home by the time we debut 7/15.

As of 7/15, we are available in 99.7% of all cable/satellite homes, with signed agreements to be in 99.87% by 8/1/14. We are in an estimated 97.5M homes.

We will "soft debut" on Monday, 7/15 at 6AM on all four channels.

Grand Rapids development

After the 2014 NASL season, the Wisconsin Warriors will be moving to the MLS.

Today, the NASL, the Warriors, and the city of Grand Rapids, MI announced that for the 2015 campaign, a new team located in Grand Rapids will replace the Warriors in the NASL.

The team will be named Michigan Builders, which represents the area's history of furniture manufacturing. Season tickets, and merchandise will go on sale in early February, 2014.

The land for the stadium, and for practice fields (one covered), team offices and parking; will be donated by the city and county. The Warriors will own 100% of the team, and will build a soccer specific stadium. It will hold 8-10K spectators with a proposed cost of $30-50M. All seating areas will be covered, though it will be an open air stadium.

The groundbreaking for the stadium will begin 4/15, and construction will begin 4/28, and is expected to be completed by the end of October. This will include a 5K car parking lot, and an entertainment complex which will include a Hooters Live, Freedom 24 Night Owl theater, batting cage, arcade, and will be anchored by a Menards and a Trader Joe's.

EDIT: The Grand Rapids Builders will be an expansion team in the USL Pro, not the NASL, due to market size. While the Warriors will continue to field their W2 team in the USL Pro, they will provide 4-8 players for the Builders, starting in 2015.
