Donated $5 million to Red Cross for hurricane relief.
Matching associate contributions $2 for every $1 donated.
Donated books, playing cards, and other recreational material to 15 shelters, including the Astrodome. About 75K books and magazines donated.
Paying all theater personnel 40 hours a week, and paying taxes, for all associates of closed buildings (seven of them), for 12 weeks or until reopening. Will pay to relocate associates and give them jobs at other locations after 12 weeks is up.
