We have 31 APC Freedom theaters open, with 10 more in Phase 2 of construction, scheduled to open in October, 2007.
1088 APC Liberty second run theaters are open, with 1 closed due to hurricane damage and/or lack of population due to storm damage. 30-75 more will open during 2007.
Still looking at "cinema cafes", have plan in place, but will not begin until Liberty division has little room for further growth.
Our 3 year plan involves having about 1400 Libertys open, along with 75-100 Freedoms, with less than 50 of our proposed cafe style theaters.
Opened a financial services business in 11/05, 4 mutual funds began business in 1/1/06, added 5 more 1/1/07 (one being a money market). As of 12/31/06 they had $110M in invested funds. $320M in invested funds as of 4/27/07 ($155M in Rival). American Capitalist.
Opened an insurance division, American Security Preservation, 1/1/08, mainly involved only in term-life and modified whole life as of now. Will look to expand through purchase of existing company before 2010, and eventually look to begin marketing through all methods.
Began an educational/motivational lecture circuit in March, will go full speed ahead in September, up to 12 a month. American Motivation.
Made $132.74M in the fiscal year ended 4/26/07, 88.5 cents per share, which hit our internal estimates nearly perfectly. Stock price $20.52, up from a split adjusted $0.556 a share when the company first offered public shares 5 years ago, nearly 37 times higher. $10K invested then would now equal $369,065.
Our best guess for the fiscal year ending 5/08 is earnings of 95 cents per share. We plan on continuing to grow and be a successful and profitable company. We always have been a debt-free company, as well as a charitable member of the community, state, and country. We do not plan to change that aspect of our business. Our success is a direct correlation of our associates, and we are happy they continue to succeed with us.
