American Pride announced it will be purchasing Red Lobster seafood chain for $2.5B, which includes purchasing various debts and obligations. This sale will be official as of 7/1/14.
American Pride announced they will be selling the real estate holdings of about 650 of the 700 locations, with a lease agreement involved. The sale of said real estate will be for $1.85B. This sale will take place on 7/15. AP will be financing the short term loan with financial partners JP Morgan Chase and Citigroup.
Including interest, two weeks of carrying costs, and various fees involved, AP is considering this a $655M sale price.

Las Vegas development
After the 2014 season, the Wisconsin Warriors will be moving from the NASL to the MLS. Las Vegas will be replacing the Warriors in the NASL in 2015. With land from Steve Wynn, about a mile from the Strip, the Warriors will be building a soccer specific stadium, capacity of about 7500-10K, which will be expandable to about 25K, and also retractable roof ready. The stadium and the parking structures will cost about $125M.
